toot is a command line and TUI client for interacting with instances on the distributed social network known as 'the Fediverse' using the Mastodon.social API. Supported features: * Regular and two-factor authentication * Posting, replying, deleting, favouriting, reblogging & pinning statuses * Media uploads, spoiler text, sensitive content * Searching by account or hash tag * Following, muting and blocking accounts * Simple switching between multiple Mastodon accounts

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
