This module provides a collection of test utilities for file attributes. Some file attributes depend on the owner of the process testing the file in the same way the file test operators do. For instance, root (or super-user or Administrator) may always be able to read files no matter the permissions. Some attributes don't make sense outside of Unix, either, so some tests automatically skip if they think they won't work on the platform. If you have a way to make these functions work on Windows, for instance, please send me a patch. :)
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
