Vera++ is a programmable tool for verification, analysis and transformation of C++ source code. Vera++ is a tool designed for programmers -- not only in the sense that it helps with everyday development work, but also in the sense that all its rules are implemented as scripts that can be modified or added by the user. Thanks to this, programmers have complete freedom and control over what the tool does and how it works. Vera++ is mainly an engine that parses C++ source files and presents the result of this parsing to scripts in the form of various collections -- the scripts are actually performing the requested tasks.
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
